The Amazing Race

Phil Keoghan returns to host Season 36 of the reality-adventure series featuring 13 globe-traveling teams competing for the $1 million prize. The competitors kick off the race from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where the 13 new teams must participate in a traditional Mexican rodeo and lasso their way to the finish line without coming in last. The stakes are high because there are no non-elimination legs, and the team to finish last in each leg is eliminated. Along the route, racers go paragliding in Colombia, rally car racing in Argentina, and visit two new countries -- swimming through waterfalls in the Dominican Republic and visiting music superstar Rihanna's childhood home in Barbados. Each location along their route includes new challenges -- some physical and some mental -- and as each task is completed, the next destination is revealed. The teams that fall the farthest behind are eliminated, and the first team to make it to the final destination wins the game.
