Talented kid chefs between the ages of 8 and 13 get a chance to showcase their culinary talents in the latest junior edition of "MasterChef." Each week, the contestants put their passion for food to the test as they compete in a series of flavorful challenges in which they must impress celebrated food experts Gordon Ramsay, Aarón Sánchez and new judge Daphne Oz. In the process, the experts coach and encourage the kids, teaching them the tricks of the trade and helping them cook like pros. The pint-sized contestants cook a meal for diners at a historical renaissance fair, see how they size up to monster trucks at a motocross track, welcome Gordon's daughter, Tilly Ramsay, back to the kitchen for a doughnut challenge and participate in a WWE-themed episode. As the challenges advance, contestants are eliminated, leaving one youngster to receive the $100,000 grand prize -- and the title of MasterChef Junior.
